No. There's no forced migration. Because Cockroach Continuum runs on the same CockroachDB engine, your existing workloads keep running exactly as they do today.

Plenum is Cockroach Continuum's usage-based storage: it scales on its own and you pay for what you store, not what you set aside. In public preview. Cluster virtualization lets you run many isolated databases on shared infrastructure, so each app gets its own database without standing up separate clusters. Only available on Cockroach Continuum in public preview.

Aegis is CockroachDB's AI operator: it watches your databases, flags issues, and recommends fixes rather than acting on its own. In private preview.
